I took my family on a road trip to the West Coast. 16 days, 17 states and almost 6,000 miles. About 1,000 miles were up and down 7-15% grades, either in 3rd gear to get up or in 2nd gear engine braking down until you could smell the brakes. About 25 miles horizontal and 1 mile vertical from Dillon, Colorado to the Eisenhower (you can't make me call it Johnson) Tunnel in 3rd gear and the gauges never moved! I had to add gasoline and wash the windows in my 2002 Chevy Suburban that started the trip with 129,000 miles and a fresh oil change. I've been using Westerville auto in uptown Westerville for over 10 years. We take our cars there for everything. They are VERY fair, never try to sell you something you don't need and get the job done quickly.
