Westerville Automotive Pledges to Honor Senior Veterans working with Honor Flight!
WE PLEDGE $1.00 FOR EVERY VEHICLE WE SERVICE THRU MAY 31ST

Mission: To transport America’s Veterans to Washington, DC to visit those memorials dedicated to honor the service and sacrifices of themselves and their friends. Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. Honor Flight transports our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect on their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.

This is a cause near and dear to our hearts here at Westerville Automotive as it is for many of our residents in this community. The photo you see is of my Pop who was a Korean War Veteran and 85 years old and his "handler" on the trip to DC he took on October 1, 2016, with a load of other Veterans. Regretfully, we lost him the following year in June of 2017. It should be noted that the "handlers" pay their own way and donate their own time and money and that most of them are doctors and nurses.

We have been proud to participate and donate to this great program in past years, but have decided to take on even a larger role to help with this great cause in 2023 here at Westerville Automotive.

OUR PLEDGE: Westerville Automotive pledges $1.00 for every car we work on from both stores thru May 31st, 2023, as well as trying to raise money from customers who wish to Honor Flight.

One dollar per car may not sound like a large pledge, however, we work on over 500 cars on a monthly average between the 2 shops we have here in Westerville Ohio. We are also working in conjunction with our friends at Auto Smarts Radio WTVN 610. Last year we raised enough funds during the June car show to send an entire plane of Veterans, which was over $70,000!
